Date company commenced: Began commercially making skateboards in 1987, and still exist now in 2009.

 

Who owned the company: Cary Pogson, who started skating in 1970, got heavily involved with snowboarding in the 80's and began manufacturing snowboards in 1986.

Key players in the company: Cary and the team riders.

Steve Seargeant : "Steve helped me out so much in the early days. I have much to thank him for."

Matt Hoffman : "Matt was one of the original team members way back in 1988/89. He only skated for us for just a short while."

Mitch Newell : "Mitch was one of our original team riders back in 1988. Skating for us for 4 to 5 years."

Grant "Biff" Murdoch : Biff first met Cary in the early 80's at North Ryde skatepark. Skated for Omni in the late 80's.

Scott Spring : "Scott skated for us in the early 90's for only a short time."

Danny Van : "Danny was another of the original first team back in 1987, skating with us for 4 years or so."

Jason Ellis : Skated for Omni for four years fom 1992, and went on to skate for Powell in the US.

Gary Valentine : Skated for Omni for four years from the early 90's.

Dave Bodnar : Skated for Omni in the early 90's for four about 5 years.

Jake Brown : Skated for Omni from 1992, continues to do well as a pro skater to this day.

Jamie Fletcher : Skate for Omni from the early 90's, left and returned to the team later, then went on to skate for Deck Head.

Adam Luxford : Skated for Omni from the early 90's for around four years.
